  1. Again i have to comment on how crazy it is that these tempals were build only my man. it was probably alot easier to build when it was only mud, but when they started to use stone that must have been back breaking work. i have alot of respect for the workers.

  2. It's amazing what the Egyptians were able to accomplish on just pure man labor. 10,000 people for a pyramid, that's insane. When looking at the size of those stones, even if they did have things to roll them on they still had to be SO heavy. Back breaking work indeed...I wonder how many people were injuried or even killed while working on any given pyramid.

  3. In popular culture, Imhotep is often mixed with the gimmick, mummies returning from the dead. Why? The man was such a great architect and polymath. If it was not for him none of these structures would be in the condition they are in today: INTACT and for US TO ENJOY! I agree with Denice on how amazing they were to move such huge stones and to be so ahead of Western Europe.
